QuaWork.ai is a service operated by our software business and its affiliates (collectively, "QuaWork"). If you have questions about the operator or data controller for your region, contact us using the details in the Contact us section below.
Scope
This Policy applies to our websites (including quawork.ai) and related products and services. It does not apply to third‑party websites, apps, or services that we do not control.
Information we collect
- Account & authentication data: mobile phone number, email, name (if provided), and the OTPs we issue and validate.
- Usage data: logs related to sign‑in attempts, device/browser information, IP address, timestamps, and activity needed to secure the service and prevent abuse.
- Support communications: messages you send to our support channels.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and to send/verify one‑time passcodes (OTP) for login and identity verification.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service; detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
No SMS marketing: We do not use your phone number for marketing or promotional text messages.
SMS messaging & opt‑out
We send SMS only for authentication and service notifications (for example, security alerts). Message frequency varies based on your use of the service. Standard message and data rates may apply.

We use a messaging provider (see Third‑party processors) that automatically honors these standard keywords. If you opt out by SMS, you may still log in using non‑SMS methods (e.g., email) where available, or you can re‑enable SMS by initiating a new verification from within your account.
Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)
Where applicable, we process your information based on our legitimate interests in providing a secure service, and/or to perform a contract with you when you create an account and request authentication. We may also process data to comply with legal obligations.
Third‑party processors
We use trusted vendors to deliver our service, including:
- Twilio Inc. for SMS delivery and phone number management. See Twilio's privacy notice at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
- Cloud hosting, analytics, and security providers that help us operate, monitor, and protect the platform.
These vendors process data on our behalf pursuant to contracts that require appropriate safeguards and confidentiality.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers as described above;
- Affiliates and professional advisers under confidentiality obligations;
- Authorities when required by law, to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our service; and
- Another entity in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition).
International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live (including India, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the United States). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross‑border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. For example, OTP codes are short‑lived, while security and access logs may be retained for a reasonable period for audit, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data that we are not legally required to keep.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can exercise these rights by contacting us as described below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
